The Whistleblower – and other movies at the Capitol this month

Every Thursday in October, the Project On Government Oversight http://pogo.org is showing a movie in its whistleblower movie series. The movie for October 15th is Silkwood with Meryl Streep, a true story about a worker at a plutonium factory who was killed by her employer when she tells reporters about what’s going on in her company.

Last week I saw The Whistleblower, a story about an oilman whose business was sabotaged by Big Oil. Sen. Akaka and Rep. Van Hollen spoke and I gave a copy of “Budget Justified” http://budgetjustified.com to their staffers.

I’m writing a thesis on Public Trust in WikiLeaks, the Media and the Government and need to know what your opinions are. The online survey is multiple choice and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Please follow the link: http://www.kwiksurveys.com/?s=ILLLML_9669e09d. Would be great if you would encourage others to do the survey also.
